Job summary

Altek Electronics, Inc. in Torrington, CT is seeking a Program Manager to lead defined customer programs from kickoff to closeout. This on-site role focuses on coordinating engineering, supply chain, and quality assurance to meet cost, schedule and contractual requirements.

The ideal candidate has a BS in engineering or business, at least 5 years in program management within manufacturing, and strong communication and negotiation skills. Travel to customers/vendors may be required.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Engineering or Business required or equivalent experience.
• MBA and/or PMP credentials preferred.
• 5 years of experience in Program Management in the manufacturing industry.
• Strong collaboration and negotiation skills required.
• Experience with ITAR, AS9100/ISO13485 knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensures programs and activities align with business objectives.
• Manages program plans including schedules, costs, and risk.
• Coordinates internal and external resources for program execution.
• Communicates requirements and ensures contractual compliance across departments.
• Leads program reviews and drives actions to remove bottlenecks.
