Job summary

ITG Brands – a leading tobacco company in the U.S. – is seeking a Production Lead based in Cayey, Puerto Rico. The role focuses on driving manufacturing efficiency, safety, and cost performance by guiding Supervisors and coordinating daily operations across a Lean framework.

You will implement continuous improvement, monitor KPIs, and lead training to build capability. The position anchors ITG’s commitment to quality and regulatory compliance in a dynamic production environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or Science or 6–8 years of manufacturing leadership experience.
• Experience leading teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical skills with knowledge of process improvement and CI methodologies.
• Ability to drive change, influence stakeholders, and lead in a fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate production plans, maintenance schedules, and daily operations.
• Lead and develop Production Supervisors to drive performance, accountability, and results.
• Implement Lean and Continuous Improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Monitor production performance and track KPIs, ensuring alignment with business goals.
• Drive training and certification programs to build team capability and support a culture of continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with safety, FDA, and environmental regulations.
• Promote 6S workplace organization standards and operational discipline.
• Act as deputy to the Production & CI Manager, supporting leadership, reporting, and project execution.
