The role focuses on staffing, training, cost management, and continuous improvement within a regulated tobacco-related production environment, aligning operations with company values and compliance standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of manufacturing operations experience.
• At least three years of supervisory or management experience.
• Strong scheduling, quality, safety, and continuous improvement knowledge.
• Experience with production equipment, packaging lines, and inventory control.
• Ability to read SOPs, work instructions, and safety requirements.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; ERP/MES experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing activities to meet targets and schedules.
• Coach and develop production personnel; manage staffing and attendance.
• Enforce safety policies and regulatory standards; promote safety culture.
• Ensure tobacco products meet specs; address quality issues with QA.
• Coordinate labor, materials, equipment for production plans.
• Identify improvements to increase throughput and reduce waste.
• Monitor inventory usage and waste; ensure material control.
• Coordinate maintenance for equipment reliability.
• Maintain production records, downtime logs, batch docs, shift handoffs.
• Control costs and drive labor efficiency; manage budget targets.
• Collaborate with internal partners and leadership.
• Develop team through training and accountability.
