FPC (FORTUNE PERSONNEL CONSULTANTS - Orlando Office) is seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee a key manufacturing team at a large plant near Lafayette, Indiana. The role requires effective management of supervisors and team leaders while ensuring excellence in production efficiency, safety, and quality.

The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of leadership experience in production management, with a strong preference for those with backgrounds in automotive or high-volume manufacturing. Proficiency in Excel and blueprint reading are also required.

Qualifications

• 5-10+ years of progressive leadership experience in Production Management or Operations Management.
• Experience managing a team of team leaders and/or supervisors.
• Previous experience in Automotive or high-volume manufacturing is valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead operations, managing the work of Production Supervisors, Team Leaders, and shop floor personnel.
• Track manufacturing production KPIs, identify bottlenecks, and improve departmental efficiency.
• Drive 5S initiatives and continuous improvement through root cause analysis.
