Job summary

Pratt Industries, Inc. is seeking a Production Lead for the 2nd shift (2pm-10pm) in Park City, KS. The role supports the Converting Supervisor by training crews, ensuring readiness of tools, and maintaining productivity in a fast‑paced manufacturing setting.

You will oversee crews, drive efficiency, and coordinate with Maintenance on repairs, while enforcing safety, housekeeping, and teamwork standards. Prior supervisory and manufacturing experience is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Prior manufacturing experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Train and cross-train crews on machines.
• Ensure tools and materials are available for crews.
• Oversee crews to ensure reliability, dependability, and timeliness.
• Maintain morale and teamwork within the crew.
• Address questions and problems from crew members.
• Train crew on operational efficiency and performance.
• Coordinate with supervisor and maintenance on repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Communicate with supervision to avoid shift-change conflicts.
• Enforce company policies including safety and housekeeping.
• Operate or assist with operating machines as needed.
• Assist Shipping Department when required.
• Additional duties as assigned by management.
