Job summary

Pratt Industries, Inc. is seeking a Production Lead to supervise a daily converting-press operation, train crew, and ensure safety and quality with minimal waste. You will cross-train employees, schedule tasks, and keep tools and materials ready.

The role requires a high school diploma, two years of supervisory experience, and the ability to lead a team, enforce policy, and communicate effectively with management and maintenance. Lift truck license may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two years prior supervisory experience.
• Preferred experience in the corrugated industry.

Responsibilities

• Train and cross-train crews on presses.
• Ensure that necessary tools and materials are available for crews to accomplish tasks.
• Oversee crews and ensure that they are reliable, dependable, on-time.
• Maintain and improve morale and make sure that they work as a team.
• Address questions, concerns, and problems expressed by the crew.
• Train crew members about the importance of running efficiently.
• Communicate with crew members regarding performance.
• Coordinate with your supervisor and Maintenance Superintendent on repairs or preventive maintenance.
