Empire Packing in Olympia, WA is seeking a General Labor to join Production. This role involves preparing work areas, loading and unloading, monitoring lines, and ensuring safety, GMPs, and quality standards in a cold, wet processing environment. Candidates must be 18+, have a HS diploma or GED, and 1+ year of production experience.

Ability to lift up to 50–100 lbs, use knives and machinery, and work overtime as required. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, PTO and 401(k).

Qualifikationen

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma/GED preferred.
• 1+ years production experience preferred.
• Must understand and comply with company, plant, and safety rules/policies.
• Basic understanding of production and procedures.
• Ability to use knives and a variety of machinery.
• Ability to lift and move product as required.
• Ability to work at a production conveyor line.

Aufgaben

• Prepare work area for pre- and post-operational activities.
• Load, unload, and transfer product to and from equipment and/or conveyors.
• Monitor production lines, identify issues, supply and replenish packaging materials as necessary.
• Sort, weigh, wrap, label, verify or measure product to meet product specifications.
• Inspect and remove defective product and/or packaging materials from the process.
• Arrive to workstation prepared to perform tasks at a scheduled time; overtime may be necessary.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Set up, tear down of equipment; use of lifting, bending, and reaching techniques.
• Perform other duties as assigned; report safety concerns.
