Job summary

JBS Foods is seeking a General Labor in Olympia, WA to operate on production lines, perform setup and teardown, and ensure safety and GMP compliance. You will load and unload products, monitor lines, and assist with quality checks in a cold, wet environment.

The role requires basic machinery handling, ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently, and readiness to work long shifts with potential overtime. Benefits include health coverage and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma/GED preferred.
• 1+ years’ production industry experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of production and procedures.
• Ability to use knives and a variety of machinery.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and up to 100 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Prepare work area for pre- and post-operational activities.
• Load, unload, and transfer product to and from equipment and conveyors.
• Monitor production lines, identify issues, and replenish packaging materials as necessary.
• Sort, weigh, wrap, label, verify or measure product to meet specifications.
• Inspect and remove defective product and packaging materials from the process.
• Work overtime as scheduled and maintain a clean, organized area.
