Job summary

Kelly Services in North Charleston, SC is hiring a Production Laborer – Manufacturing to support building and finishing parts in a fast-paced plant.

You will operate a PEM inserter, move materials with pallet jacks or forklifts, maintain clean work areas, and help ensure safety and quality standards. Prior manufacturing or warehouse experience is preferred, but not required.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting is preferred but not required.
• Strong verbal communication and time management skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform frequent standing and bending.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean and organized work areas; properly dispose of debris and scrap materials.
• Support production by grinding, deburring, and removing punched parts from sheet metal.
• Organize finished parts onto pallets for efficient workflow.
• Move materials using pallet jacks and/or forklifts.
• Operate PEM inserter machine and assist with general production duties as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental policies, maintaining high-quality standards.

Production Laborer – Manufacturing | North Charleston, SC

Pay Rate: $19–$20/hr | Shifts: 1st (6:00am–2:30pm) & 2nd (3:30pm–12:00am)
