Qualifications

• Ability to direct and lead assigned crew with a strong focus on safety and production goals.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, up to 400 times per day.
• Ability to operate a forklift and clamp truck safely and effectively.
• Strong counting and basic math skills.
• High school diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee the assigned department's personnel and production activities.
• Execute the shift production schedule by assessing material and staffing needs, fostering a strong safety culture, and ensuring compliance with policies.
• Review and verify end-of-shift production paperwork (crew size, hours worked, cases produced, skids completed).
• Verify item numbers, PO numbers, and materials for accuracy; count finished materials for accuracy.
• Train and develop personnel, including cross-training across departments; rotate staff; cover breaks; work overtime as needed.
• Represent the department on the Company Safety Committee; report personnel issues to supervision.
