Job summary

Seaman Paper is seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead converting operations on the 2nd shift (3:00pm - 11:00pm) in Orange, MA. The role directs shift activities, staffing, quality, safety, and daily production goals in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

You will coach staff, manage timecards, and collaborate with maintenance, quality, HR, and plant leadership to improve performance and ensure accountable operations.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising employees and managing day-to-day production activities.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to communicate instructions clearly, both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct shift employees to meet daily production goals and operational requirements.
• Oversee converting operations and coordinate support across production, quality, maintenance, and other departments.
• Plan staffing and assign employees based on production schedules and business needs.
• Lead shift changeover communications to ensure smooth transitions between shifts.
• Monitor production performance, capacity, quality, and shift efficiency.
• Identify training needs and support employee development and skills training.
• Build accountability through coaching and leading by example.
• Promote and enforce a strong safety culture across the shift.
