Job summary

Charter Casting in Shawano is hiring for Grinding Operator on the night shift (3rd shift, 10-hour days 6pm-4am).

Earn $25.25 per hour with a $2,000 sign-on bonus. This full-time role offers overtime opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) plan.

You will grind iron castings to specifications, operate robots and grinders, perform wheel changes, and record production data. Prior machine shop experience is a plus.

• 1 year prior experience in manufacturing, foundry, metals, or related field.

What You Bring:

• 1 year prior experience working in manufacturing, foundry, metals, or related field
• Someone who lives by our values of trust, teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement
• High School Diploma (we can help with our GED works program!)
• Ability to push, pull, lift, and move up to 60lbs
• Basic math and problem solving skills
