Job summary

Charter Manufacturing is seeking a Grinding Operator for the 3rd shift (10-hour days, 6pm-4am, Monday to Thursday plus overtime) in Shawano. The role involves grinding iron castings to specifications, operating robots and grinders, and performing wheel changes.

NIGHT SHIFT $25.25/hr + $2,000 sign on bonus

Grinding Operator | 3rd shift (10-hour days (6pm-4am), Monday to Thursday + Overtime) | $25.25/hr

• Grinding iron castings to specifications
• Use power tools such as robots, hand grinders, stationary grinders and pencil grinders
• Perform wheel changes
• Record data & complete paperwork
• Prior machine shop experience is a plus!

What You Bring:

• 1 year prior experience working in manufacturing, foundry, metals, or related field
• Someone who lives by our values of trust, teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement
• High School Diploma (we can help with our GED works program!)
• Ability to push, pull, lift, and move up to 60lbs
