Charter Aarrowcast is hiring a Melt Deck Operator at Charter Casting in Shawano, WI. The role is on 12-hour shifts (6pm-6am) with a starting pay of $24.75–$27 per hour and a $2,000 sign-on bonus. Join a family-owned manufacturer with strong safety and team values.

Responsibilities

• Transport melting materials and supplies.
• Operate melting furnace charging equipment.
• Learn to operate the melting furnaces.
• Transport materials from the warehouse to the melt deck.
• Remove full slag hoppers from the melt deck and transport to refuse containers.
• Ensure personal and coworker safety in the area.

Melt Deck Operator | 1st or 3rd Shift (12-hour shifts, 6pm-6am) | $24.75 - 27/hr

• Transport melting materials and supplies;
• Operate melting furnace charging equipment
• Learn to operate the melting furnaces.
• Transport melting materials and supplies from the warehouse or other locations to the melt deck.
• Remove full slag hoppers from the melt deck and transport to commercial refuse containers.
• Responsible for own safety and the safety of others in the area.

What You Bring:

• 1 year prior experience working in manufacturing, foundry, metals, or related field
• Someone who lives by our values of trust, teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement
• High School Diploma (we can help with our GED works program!)
• Ability to push, pull, lift, and move up to 60lbs
• Basic math and problem solving skills
