Job summary

Wis-Pak in Norfolk, Nebraska is seeking a Forklift Operator / Floater to join our production and warehouse team. You’ll move materials, support production lines, and ensure products are stored and shipped safely. Training is provided whether you have prior forklift experience or not.

You’ll join a team that values safety, quality, and teamwork, with opportunities to grow and contribute daily in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to complete forklift training and certification.
• No prior forklift experience required.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Basic math, reading, and communication skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and safety.
• Dependable team player.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis; no visa sponsorship.
• English reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to move finished products and raw materials throughout the warehouse and production areas.
• Supply production lines with needed materials to keep operations running efficiently.
• Scan barcodes and complete required documentation accurately.
• Load, unload, and transport pallets, packaging materials, and other warehouse inventory.
• Inspect products and materials, reporting any quality concerns.
• Maintain proper stock rotation and warehouse organization.
• Operate stretch wrap equipment and assist with pallet handling.
• Help keep the warehouse clean, safe, and organized.
• Follow all food safety, GMP, and workplace safety standards.
• Work collaboratively with team members and provide support where needed.

About the Role
