Job summary

Wis-Pak, Inc. in Norfolk, NE seeks a Forklift Operator / Floater to move materials, support production lines, and ensure proper storage and shipping of products.

You will train and be supported to become certified, with a 5:00am-5:00pm rotating 2-2-3 schedule and a starting pay of $22.90 per hour. This role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Willing to complete forklift training and certification.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Basic math, reading, and communication skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Dependable team player with a positive attitude.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis. The company will not sponsor employment visas now or in the future.
• Applicants must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English at a level necessary to perform the essential duties of the position.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to move finished products and raw materials throughout the warehouse and production areas.
• Supply production lines with needed materials to keep operations running efficiently.
• Scan barcodes and complete required documentation accurately.
• Load, unload, and transport pallets, packaging materials, and other warehouse inventory.
• Inspect products and materials, reporting any quality concerns; maintain proper stock rotation and warehouse organization.
• Operate stretch wrap equipment and assist with pallet handling.
• Help keep the warehouse clean, safe, and organized.
• Follow all food safety, GMP, and workplace safety standards.
• Work collaboratively with team members and provide support where needed.

About the Role
