Job summary

Orchid Orthopedic Solutions LLC seeks a Production Engineer to support end-to-end product flow by identifying manufacturing and delivery risks and providing visibility to operational constraints. You will coordinate recovery activities and support sustainable flow improvements while working closely with Operations, Planning, Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering.

The role emphasizes analyzing WIP, bottlenecks, and capacity constraints, with hands-on presence on the shop floor to validate

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Operations Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Experience analyzing manufacturing flow, production constraints, Work Orders, WIP, schedules, and recovery activities.
Experience with ERP/MRP systems and manufacturing reporting or dashboard tools.

Responsibilities

Review the 13-week sales-order horizon to identify manufacturing and delivery risks before orders become late.
Connect Sales Orders, Work Orders, operational requirements, and constraints to provide clear visibility to risks affecting product flow and customer delivery.
Analyze aging Work Orders, bottlenecks, queues, WIP, capacity constraints, material/tooling issues, inspection or quality constraints, and batch-size or product-flow issues.
Coordinate cross-functional recovery efforts and track shipment-critical actions through closure.
Maintain a strong presence on the manufacturing floor to observe product flow, validate constraints, and support timely escalation and resolution.
