Job summary

Tecomet Inc. is seeking a Production Engineer in Florida to optimize end-to-end product flow. The role proactively identifies manufacturing and delivery risks, provides visibility to constraints, and coordinates recovery actions while maintaining ownership of execution.

You will work closely with Operations, Planning, Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering to analyze bottlenecks, WIP, and capacity, supporting timely escalation and resolution on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical discipline with manufacturing experience.
• Experience analyzing manufacturing flow, constraints, WIP, schedules, and recovery actions.
• Ability to identify risks early and translate findings into clear priorities and actions.

Responsibilities

• Review 13-week sales-order horizon to identify manufacturing and delivery risks.
• Connect Sales Orders, Work Orders, and constraints to provide visibility to risks.
• Analyze aging Work Orders, bottlenecks, queues, WIP, capacity constraints, and tooling issues.
• Facilitate and assign recovery actions for Yellow/Red risks with owners and due dates.
• Track recovery actions through to closure and escalate missed commitments.
• Identify recurring constraints and support permanent flow improvements.
• Support daily sales-order reviews and shipments readiness.
• Monitor downstream product flow, including inspection, release constraints, and readiness for shipment.
• Coordinate cross-functional recovery efforts and track critical actions to closure.
• Observe on the manufacturing floor to validate constraints and escalate as needed.
