Job summary

Tecomet, Inc. is seeking a Production Engineer to optimize end-to-end product flow. You will proactively identify manufacturing and delivery risks, coordinate recovery actions, and support sustainable improvements.

The role collaborates with Operations, Planning, Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering to maintain ownership of execution. The candidate will analyze constraints, track recovery actions, and maintain a strong manufacturing-floor presence to ensure timely escalation and resolution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a manufacturing or related engineering field.
• Experience analyzing manufacturing flow, constraints, Work Orders, WIP, schedules, and recovery actions.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Review the 13-week horizon to identify manufacturing and delivery risks before orders are late.
• Connect Sales Orders, Work Orders, requirements, and constraints to provide visibility to risks affecting product flow and delivery.
• Analyze aging Work Orders, bottlenecks, queues, WIP, capacity constraints, tooling issues, inspection or quality constraints, and batch-size or product-flow issues.
• Coordinate cross-functional recovery actions for identified risks, ensuring owners, due dates, actions, and commitments.
• Track recovery actions through to closure and escalate missed commitments or unresolved risks.
• Identify recurring constraints affecting multiple orders and support permanent flow improvements.
• Observe floor to validate constraints and support timely escalation and resolution.
