Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in production control, manufacturing, planning, expediting, inventory control, or a related manufacturing role.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems; JobBOSS experience is a plus.
• Ability to read production schedules, work orders, routers/travelers, and manufacturing documentation.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong follow-up skills and ability to drive actions to completion.
• Effective verbal and written communication; cross-functional collaboration.
• Detail-oriented with good recordkeeping and tracking.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production schedules, work orders, and customer priorities to ensure jobs progress through manufacturing according to required completion dates.
• Expedite priority and time-sensitive work orders through production to support customer delivery requirements.
• Track work-in-process (WIP) and identify delayed, stalled, or at-risk jobs.
• Coordinate with Supervisors and operators to determine status and expected completion dates.
• Identify shortages that could impact production schedules and work with planning to resolve them.
• Communicate delays and schedule changes to stakeholders in a timely manner.
• Assist with prioritizing work on the production floor based on customer requirements.
• Maintain accurate information in ERP systems and provide updates to leadership.
