Job summary

Micross seeks a Production Control Expeditor to schedule the production floor based on the master schedule, material availability, and capacity. You will maximize throughput by scheduling work efficiently in each department and work closely with the production team to meet throughput and on-time delivery goals.

This role requires hands-on ERP and Excel skills, strong communication, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience.
• Proficient in ERP and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Release Production Orders to shop floor – ensuring ERP data matches the Contract Review Checklist.
• Schedule work at various departments considering capacity, material and tooling availability, and setup efficiency.
• Provide status on open order reports as requested by sales team/customers.
• Process Change Orders.
• Ensure accuracy of ship dates in ERP system.
• Review actual throughput against expected throughput on CPAs to identify production issues.
• Communicate any constraints and quality concerns to management team.
• Other duties as assigned by manager (may include being a backup in other areas such as Shipping & Receiving)

They will work closely with the production team to make sure our throughput and on-time delivery goals are met.
