Job summary

Nox Metals in Detroit, MI is hiring a Production Supervisor to lead floor operations, ensuring safety, quality, and timely output for each shift. You will train staff, assign work, and fix issues when machinery or jobs fall behind.

The role combines hands-on work with leadership, reporting to the General Manager. Responsibilities include running equipment, teaching processes, enforcing PPE, and maintaining a smooth handoff between shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a shift in manufacturing or metals environments.
• Strong communication and ability to train and coach teams.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and on-time delivery.
• Willingness to work extended hours when needed and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift team, set pace, and own safety, quality, and output.
• Assign work, set priorities, and keep production on schedule.
• Train and coach team members on equipment, safety, and our software.
• Enforce safety rules, PPE, and report incidents and near misses.
• Run saws, CNC, and handling equipment; record data and complete handoffs.
