Job summary

Hanwha Q CELLS is seeking a Production Engineer to support day-to-day manufacturing operations in our Cartersville, GA facility. You will collect, validate, and analyze data to create actionable reports for management decisions and develop production schedules in collaboration with supervisors.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operations planning, program management, continuous improvement, and data analytics, with experience in Lean/Six Sigma and ERP/MES systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong data analysis and math skills, with ability to verify data.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and 5S.
• Proficient in ERP/MES and Microsoft Office.
• Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop production schedules and monitor progress.
• Identify production issues and drive root-cause resolutions.
• Collaborate with departments to optimize productivity, quality and safety.
• Create operational reports for management review.
• Lead new manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement programs.
• Analyze trends to set KPIs and drive efficiency.
• Provide line support and troubleshoot equipment.
