Job summary

Hanwha Q CELLS is seeking a Production Engineering Specialist to support day-to-day manufacturing operations. The role focuses on collecting, validating, and analyzing data to generate actionable reports for management decision making.

The ideal candidate will design production schedules, coordinate with supervisors, and resolve production problems while leveraging LEAN, Six Sigma, and ERP/MES systems to drive improvements and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of related experience.
• Fluency in Korean strongly preferred.
• Impeccable math and analytic skills.
• Must be comfortable with integrating new technology into an existing business environment.
• Strong data analysis, data verification, problem-solving abilities.
• Advanced knowledge with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point).
• Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, 5S, Lean/Six Sigma.
• Advanced proficiency in using ERP/MES systems.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with production management in ongoing reporting and development of analytical tools to enhance production volume and profitability.
• Identify production issues, analyze root causes and drive resolutions.
• Assist in budget analysis and preparation; develop operating goals for productivity, quality and safety.
• Compile and analyze company data and create reports for management’s review.
• Provide production line support including implementing process improvements and troubleshooting equipment.
