Job summary

Hanwha Q CELLS seeks a Sr. Production Engineer to support day-to-day manufacturing operations, collect and analyze data, and create schedules for management decision-making.

You will collaborate with supervisors to track progress, inventory levels, and problem resolution while driving continuous improvement initiatives across departments. The ideal candidate has a strong background in Operations, Planning/Scheduling, Program Management, continuous improvement and data analytics, and will

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field required.
• 5+ years of related experience required.
• Fluency in Korean strongly preferred.
• Strong math and analytic skills required.
• Experience integrating new technology into business environment.
• Advanced knowledge of data analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Work with production management on ongoing reporting and analytical tool development.
• Identify production issues, analyze root causes and drive resolutions.
• Assist in budget analysis and prepare operating goals for productivity, quality and safety.
• Compile and analyze company data and create management reports.
• Provide production line support including process improvements and equipment troubleshooting.
• Apply LEAN, Six Sigma and best-practice tools for day-to-day problem solving and improvement.
• Lead new manufacturing initiatives including resource allocation and production system integration for efficiency.
• Track labor costs, coordinate material availability, staffing, capacity, and profitability.
• Develop KPIs and performance benchmarks with internal partners.
• Develop complete production plans with scheduling, priorities, and progress monitoring.
• Create mechanisms to improve production and streamline workflow.
• Develop new reporting methods, templates, and tools across business areas.
• Adhere to Hanwha Q Cells policies and procedures.
