Job summary

Hanwha Q CELLS is seeking a Production Engineer to support day-to-day manufacturing operations. You will collect and analyze data, build reports for decision making, and create production schedules. You will collaborate with department supervisors to track progress, manage inventory, and resolve production problems.

The role emphasizes operations planning, continuous improvement, and data analytics, with strong emphasis on Lean/Six Sigma and ERP/MES tooling to drive efficiency and profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of related experience.
• Impeccable math and analytic skills.
• Lean Manufacturing knowledge and CI experience.
• Advanced proficiency with ERP/MES systems.
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work under pressure and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Develop production schedules and report on progress.
• Analyze data to drive improvements in volume and profitability.
• Support budget analysis and operating goal setting.
• Create reports for management review and KPI tracking.
• Provide production line support and troubleshooting.
• Lead cross-departmental initiatives for efficiency gains.
• Apply Lean, Six Sigma and other best-practice tools.
• Implement new manufacturing initiatives and resource allocation.
• Coordinate material availability, staffing, and capacity.
• Develop new reporting methods and templates for improvement.
