Job summary

Greene Resources in Wilmington, NC is seeking a Production Crew Lead to manage 5-10 production employees on a daily basis. You will coach staff, coordinate staffing with management, ensure materials are available, and enforce safety and quality procedures on the shift.

The role requires coordinating across departments, inspecting equipment, completing reports, and driving process improvements. Schedule is Mon-Thu 7:00am–5:30pm with potential Fridays and OT; must have reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing or production experience is required.
• Formal lead experience is preferred.
• Forklift experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the daily work of approximately 5-10 production employees.
• Assist with training, coaching, and guiding employees across production operations.
• Work with management to ensure daily staffing and training needs are met.
• Confirm that materials and supplies are available to support production.
• Enforce safety, quality, and operating procedures throughout the shift.
• Ensure production equipment is functioning properly, make minor mechanical adjustments, and contact maintenance when necessary.
• Complete production and quality reports.
• Inspect production areas and equipment and ensure work areas remain clean and organized.
• Help implement process improvements that increase crew and equipment productivity.
• Work in different production departments as business needs require.
