Job summary

Protocase Inc. in Wilmington, North Carolina, is seeking an Operational Leader to build and coach high-performing production teams on the afternoon shift (3:00 PM – 11:00 PM) on-site.

You will drive safety, quality, and efficiency by setting clear expectations, removing obstacles, and developing people through hands-on coaching, daily accountability, and continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Post-secondary education in Manufacturing, Business, Leadership, or related field is considered an asset.
• Proven experience leading teams within a manufacturing or operations environment.
• Demonstrated success driving accountability, performance, and team development.
• Experience managing daily production activities and operational priorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily execution with clear shift expectations, monitor performance, ensure safety, quality and efficiency.
• Provide hands-on operational support on the production floor, removing obstacles and troubleshooting.
• Build and develop your team through training, coaching, accountability, onboarding, and continuous learning.
• Enforce SOPs, maintain quality standards, and reinforce safe work practices.
• Own KPIs: monitor output, quality, efficiency, attendance, and other metrics; drive improvement through coaching.
• Execute PTA: ensure clear documentation, training, auditing and proper procedures.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying issues, implementing solutions, and improving workflows and communication.
• Communicate clearly: provide timely coaching/feedback and escalate issues when needed.
