Job summary

Camco Manufacturing, located in Greensboro, NC, seeks a Lead Line Coordinator to manage daily line operations, support production flow, and ensure teams follow standard work instructions.

You’ll train new hires, balance lines, monitor KPIs, reinforce safety, and communicate shifts with supervisors to maintain quality and output.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of manufacturing or production experience.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lead by example and support team members.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Basic understanding of safety and quality requirements.
• Ability to train others and follow standard work.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily workflow on assigned production line(s).
• Ensure employees are in correct positions and trained for assigned tasks.
• Support start-ups, changeovers, and line balancing.
• Communicate production goals and track progress throughout the shift.
• Reinforce safety rules, PPE usage, and safe work practices.
• Conduct basic quality checks and eliminate issues to supervisors.
• Ensure employees follow SOPs and standard work instructions.
• Provide hands-on training for new hires and temporary employees.
• Answer questions and assist employees with tasks or equipment.
• Serve as the first point of contact for minor concerns or issues.
• Complete basic production logs, counts, and downtime tracking.
• Report attendance issues, performance concerns, or policy violations to supervisors.
• Communicate shift updates during handoff.
• Escalate safety, quality, or behavioral issues to the Shift Supervisor or Production Manager.
• Support investigations by providing factual information when requested.
• Participate in and support Tier 1 meetings, including communicating updates, reviewing KPIs, and addressing action items.
• Ensure accurate timekeeping by reviewing and approving employee punches, corrections, and attendance in Paycom.
