Job summary

Fourth Floor is seeking a Production Coordinator to drive end-to-end apparel production from development handoff through bulk production and final delivery. You will coordinate with overseas factories, vendors, and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

You will manage timelines, WIP, QA samples, and packaging requirements while maintaining meticulous Excel trackers and ensuring accurate tech packs and labeling across all productions.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in apparel production or sourcing.
  • Strong understanding of garment construction, fabrics, trims, and production processes.
  • Experience with T&A calendars, WIP management, and production tracking.
  • Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS) and data analysis.
  • Experience with overseas factories, vendors, and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Manage production timelines, calendars, WIP, in-transit orders, and final deliveries.
  • Coordinate order placement and communicate order details with overseas offices.
  • Manage packaging, ticketing, care labels, hangtags, carton markings, and customer-specific requirements.
  • Track samples (Fit, PP, TOP, AD) and ensure timely approvals.
  • Coordinate approvals for fabrics, trims, lab dips, strike-offs, packaging, and other components.
  • Communicate daily with overseas factories and vendors to track production and resolve issues.
  • Ensure factories have current tech packs, specifications, POs, size scales, and labeling requirements.
  • Partner with Design, Technical Design, Merchandising, and Sales.
  • Maintain Excel WIP reports, production trackers, and approval logs.
  • Identify production delays, quality concerns, and cost issues and escalate to resolve them.

What You'll Do
  • Manage production timelines, T&A calendars, WIP, in-transit orders, and final deliveries

  • Track Fit, PP, TOP, and AD samples and ensure timely approvals
  • Coordinate approvals for fabrics, trims, lab dips, strike-offs, packaging, and other production components
  • Communicate daily with overseas factories and vendors to track production and resolve issues
  • Ensure factories have current tech packs, specifications, POs, size scales, and labeling requirements
  • Partner closely with Design, Technical Design, Merchandising, and Sales
  • Maintain Excel WIP reports, production trackers, and approval logs
  • Identify production delays, quality concerns, and cost issues-and proactively escalated and help resolve them
What We're Looking For
  • 3+ years of experience in apparel production or sourcing
  • Strong understanding of garment construction, fabrics, trims, and production processes
  • Experience with T&A calendars, WIP management, and production tracking
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, and data analysis
  • Experience with PLM, BlueCherry, Exenta, or similar ERP systems is a plus
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with overseas teams
  • Experience with customers such as TJX, Burlington, BJ's, Walmart, or Costco is a plus
