Job summary

  • Experience reading/scheduling progress with MS Project or Primavera (P6).
  • Ability to read blueprints is a plus.
  • EVM knowledge is a plus.

Job description

The PRODUCTION COORDINATOR role is a key member of our project execution team that enables TEi to meet its contractual obligations and financial forecasts. This team member coordinates within the organization to ensure the successful execution of manufacturing at Joplin.

The purpose of this role is to: 1) clearly communicate schedule requirements to Production, 2) monitor project progress of all projects, especially high-value and high-priority projects, 3) drive Production to achieve the baseline dates of all projects, 4) randomly perform schedule audits to verify that actual progress on the shop floor (materials and manufacturing) meets reported progress, 5) and provide root cause analysis and assist Production Controls with recovery plans when project schedules fall behind the baseline.

EDUCATION
  • High School Diploma (or equivalent) required.
  • Associate degree (or equivalent) preferred.
EXPERIENCE
  • Manufacturing experience in related field required.
  • Knowledge of material movement or material flow is preferred.
  • Influence and leadership is a must.
  • Must have excellent verbal, written & interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent reading and comprehension skills.
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills.
  • Must have experience reading & reporting schedule progress in either MS Project or Primavera (P6).
  • Ability to read blueprints is a plus.
  • Knowledge of welding processes and manufacturing a plus.
  • Earned Value Management (EVM) knowledge is a plus.
  • Desire for process improvement is imperative.
COMPUTER SKILLS
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Powerpoint.
  • Knowledge of Power Bi, Scheduling Software, Time Keeping Software & Costpoint programs a plus.

Compensation $63,000 to $71,750 annually DOE
