Job summary

Apex Revenue Technologies seeks a Production Coordinator to ensure accurate and timely production scheduling, maximize efficiency, and uphold quality standards. You will monitor systems to identify bottlenecks, coordinate with shifts, and support issue resolution to keep manufacturing running smoothly.

Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma, an Associates in Logistics, and at least 5 years in a manufacturing setting with strong MS Office and Lean manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or higher with related education in logistics.
• Associates Degree in Logistics preferred; 5 years manufacturing experience required.
• Experience working in LEAN manufacturing environments and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Schedules all work for the shift to meet SLAs and production goals.
• Develops and controls production schedules based on customer requirements.
• Analyzes daily reports to predict production levels and workflow.
• Optimizes changeovers, labor, and equipment usage for efficiency.
• Provides data to assist shift supervisor in resource planning.
• Notifies supervisor of issues impacting workflow and production.
• Reports daily production needs and completions; supports retraining as needed.
• Collaborates with production management to resolve issues and improve efficiency.

Job Title: Production Coordinator

Job Summary

Responsible for ensuring production is accurately and timely scheduled to maximize production efficiency. Provides oversight of quality, ensuring that high quality standards are applied at all times. Monitors systems to identify bottlenecks and ensure continuous operation.

Essential Functions

• Schedules all work for the shift, ensuring efficient operations; prioritizes work to meet SLAs
• Develops and controls production schedules based on customer requirements
• Analyzes daily scheduling reports to determine specific production work flow and predict daily production levels
• Schedules work to optimize changeover, labor and production equipment usage
• Provides data and analysist to assist shift supervisor in resource planning
• Immediately notifies shift supervisor of issues impacting production workflow
• Reports daily production needs and completions
• Participates in providing direction and retraining where needed to insure efficient operations
• Interacts with production management on a daily basis to resolve issues regarding manufacturing efficiencies, requests for data/information, and customer issues
• Monitors work, making changes as needed, in order to maximize machine and employee efficiency
