Job description

WE ARE CURRENTLY HIRING A PRODUCTION COORDINATOR AT OUR DOWNEY, CA LOCATION
OBJECTIVE
We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized Production Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will support the end-to-end production process, ensure on-time delivery of goods, and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and internal departments.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Issue and maintain purchase orders for finished goods.
  • Create and maintain production WIP (Work in Progress) report.
  • Run open orders report weekly, review purchase order status, and update delivery dates after reviewing with team.
  • Coordinate third party final inspection for import styles and provide tech packs for the inspection.
  • Review packing lists for import drop shipment purchase orders and approve shipment hand off to freight forwarder.
  • Publish in-bound shipments to receiving team.
  • Partner with warehouse receiving team and quality control team to audit received styles in the QC area.
  • Actualize bill of materials for finish goods POs and cutting tickets.
  • Document quality defects and prepare debit memo information as necessary.
  • Prepare quality and raw material chargebacks to review with production manager.
  • Coordinate trims to be pulled to shipped when requested by vendors and prepare debit memo.
  • Issue cut tickets for rework styles.
  • Publish seasonal drop shipment summary to vendors.
  • Maintain TOP library and bulk color approval library.
  • Other general office duties as needed.
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE

EDUCATION
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
EXPERIENCE
  • 2+ years of experience in apparel production or fashion supply chain.
  • Strong knowledge of garment construction and production lifecycles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and inventory management tools.
  • Full Circle experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with domestic and international manufacturing is a plus.
COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
  • Strong attention to detail, high level of accuracy, and ability to understand the purpose of task.
  • Excellent communication, research, problem-solving, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Operate as a team and/or independently while demonstrating flexibility to changing requirements.
  • Ability to always maintain discretion and confidentiality.

PAY TRANSPARENCY

This position pays $22.00 per hour.
