Job summary

Sodexo is hiring a Production Cook at RPI to accurately prepare, portion, cook, and present hot and cold items across meal periods and events. You’ll work in a fast-paced kitchen, ensuring safety, quality, and consistency while maintaining a clean workstation.

You’ll follow standard recipes, support kitchen teamwork, and uphold food safety and sanitation standards. Flexible shifts and interview-based details accompany this role.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent experience.
• 0 to 2 years of related work experience.
• Knowledge of basic operation of equipment and food-handling procedures.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Good working knowledge of food preparation.
• Must be able to read and follow a recipe unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food in accordance with current standards to ensure high-quality service.
• Follow recipes and product directions for cooking and serving items.
• Estimate food requirements, check production, and keep records to plan production needs.
