Plum Market Food Service is seeking a Production Cook to support daily kitchen operations and deliver high-quality meals. You will prepare, cook, and serve items according to menu standards while ensuring food safety and cleanliness across the culinary department.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience as a cook.
• Ability to work quickly in a fast-paced environment and adapt to different roles.
• Understanding of rotation principles and food safety standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and a team player focused on Guest satisfaction.
• Able to open/close the kitchen with equipment checks and sanitation duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, courteous, and professional service to Guests.
• Prepare, cook, heat, and serve all components of the daily menu following Plum Market Foodservice standards.
• Maintain the hot bar during lunch service, keeping food fresh and properly rotated.
• Perform all food safety and sanitation practices, including daily equipment checks and temperature logs.
• Demonstrate proper knife skills, portion controls, and recipe execution.
• Receive deliveries, stock shelves and coolers, and rotate products as established.
• Assist with catering orders and deliveries as directed by the Manager.
• Support other stations as needed (Sandwich and Salad).
• Wash dishes and keep kitchen areas, equipment, and floors clean and in excellent condition.
• Sweep and mop floors daily to maintain sanitation and safety standards.
• Communicate needs or concerns to Leadership promptly.
• Uphold Plum Market Foodservice policies, procedures, and SOPs.
