Job summary

GTI in Goodyear, AZ is seeking a Production Control Technician to support daily manufacturing schedules by ensuring work orders, materials, system data, and production priorities are aligned before and during builds.

You will work closely with the Value Stream Planner and shop-floor teams to monitor progress, flag risks, update the production Heat Map, and maintain accurate records to sustain on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in production control, manufacturing ops, or related role.
• Experience with work orders, BOMs, routings, and inventory control.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP, MES, or production tracking systems.
• Strong Excel skills including pivots and lookups.
• Ability to read and interpret production priorities and constraints.

Responsibilities

• Monitor daily production schedules and ensure jobs are released and progressed per plan.
• Coordinate with the planner to sequence work based on demand, material readiness, and constraints.
• Track status from release to completion and communicate delays or risks.
• Update the production Heat Map daily for visibility and recovery actions.
• Maintain accurate transactions for inventory movements and work orders.
