Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Specialist - Production Control II in Huntsville, AL to develop and manage detailed production schedules, monitor real-time operations, and coordinate cross-functional resources to meet shipping dates.

You will analyze capacity and requisition data, prepare reports, and drive continuous improvement in scheduling efficiency and on-time delivery within a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in production control or scheduling in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP or Oracle) and MS Excel.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret capacity and requisition data.
• Ability to adapt to a high-tempo production setting with shifting priorities.
• U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and manage detailed manufacturing production schedules and workflows to align with customer orders and forecasts.
• Monitor production operations in real time and expedite activities causing delays; adjust schedules as needed.
• Analyze plant capacity, requisition data, and resources to identify optimal processes and constraints.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, supply chain, and quality teams to ensure plan feasibility.
• Prepare, maintain, and distribute production reports and KPIs for leadership.
• Provide estimating support for production timelines and capacity planning.
• Support daily production meetings and mitigate schedule risks and material shortages.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in production control processes.
