Job summary

Blue Origin in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Production Control Specialist to coordinate and control manufacturing activities for rocket engine production. You will maintain schedules, coordinate material staging, and work with area leads to resolve production constraints.

The role requires a hands-on, fast-paced approach in a high-energy environment. Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Costpoint) and MS Project is preferred, and a Bachelor's in supply chain management is desirable.

Qualifications

• Schedule management experience.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Costpoint, etc.).
• Familiarity with MS Project and MS Office.
• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or related field.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, maintain, communicate and drive the schedule to ensure on-time delivery for service centers and integrated areas.
• Schedule management throughout the day to maintain a dynamic accurate schedule.
• Clearly communicate the status of each job.
• Coordinate the schedule, plan, and initial staging of material/kits to all vital areas of production and test.
• Identify and communicate constraints in the production flow and work with area leads to discuss possible solutions.
• Updating estimated on-dock dates in scheduling system, e.g., assemblies in inventory ready for vehicle install.
