Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a seasoned Production Scheduler to develop and manage production schedules across multiple programs, balancing program milestones with shop-floor capacity. You will collaborate with Manufacturing Leaders, Engineering, and Supply Chain to keep plans realistic and aligned with customer demands.

The role emphasizes CPM scheduling in MS Project or Primavera P6, digital tooling integration, and mentoring junior planners to raise scheduling excellence.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Production Management, Business Management, Industrial Engineering or Supply Chain Management preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of recent production control, planning and scheduling experience in aerospace manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints/schematics and understand technical docs.
• Experience with CPM scheduling in MS Project or Primavera P6.
• Digital fluency and comfort with automating processes and AI tools.

Responsibilities

• Develops production schedules and manufacturing plans based on program schedules, labor and machine resources.
• Identify schedule risks and communicate status to leadership to prevent milestone impacts.
• Maintain schedule baseline integrity and manage change control for schedule revisions.
• Mentor and develop junior planners to improve team scheduling proficiency.
• Coordinate with Program Management, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Purchasing and Engineering to ensure alignment with specs.
