Job summary

Akima Global Logistics (AGL), an Akima company, is seeking a Production Control Clerk to ensure timely data entry into GCSS-Army, DPAS, and LMP, and to maintain logs and reports for daily activity. The role involves compiling production data from orders and tickets, preparing production sheets for workers, coordinating equipment maintenance, and supporting payroll data entry.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; Associate’s in logistics or supply a plus
• Must have GCSS-A experience (GCSS-A Certification)
• Must have the ability to receive a favorable Tier-1 Investigation result and obtain/maintain a CAC
• Must have the ability to pass Pre-Employment Drug Test and Background Screening
• 2-3 years production control experience
• Must have a Real ID
• Must have a valid Texas driver's license and proof of insurance
• U.S. Army 92-series MOS qualification or civilian equivalent preferred
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Skills
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC)
• Must be able to obtain Tier1/ NACI (Public trust) background eligibility
• Basic proficiency in the English language (reading and writing)
• Must receive a favorable background check and drug testing results.Employees may be required to perform other duties as assigned
• Must be able to travel within the United States as required. This position may require up to 25% travel

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate data entry into Army systems such as GCSS-Army, DPAS, or LMP.
• Maintain logs, spreadsheets, and reports for daily, weekly, and monthly activity.
• Support audit readiness by maintaining accurate and compliant material records.
• Write production reports based on data compiled, tabulated and computed, following prescribed formats.
• Maintain files of documents used and prepared, compiling detailed production sheets or work tickets for use by production workers as guides in assembly or manufacture of products.
• Sort and distribute work tickets or material and may compute wages from employee timecards and post data on records used for preparation of payroll.
• Monitor equipment requiring maintenance by creating evacuation work orders, coordinating the transfer of equipment to the repair shop, and ensuring proper receipt once repairs are completed.
