Job summary

Akima Global Logistics (AGL) is hiring a Production Control Clerk to support supply and maintenance management processes. The role requires data entry into Army systems (GCSS-Army, DPAS, LMP), log maintenance, reporting, and supporting audits.

Expect up to 25% travel and duties across warehouse and production environments. Qualifications include high school diploma or equivalent, GCSS-A experience, CAC eligibility, background check clearance, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's in logistics or related field preferred.
• Must have GCSS-A experience (GCSS-A Certification).
• Ability to pass pre-employment background, drug test, and favorable Tier-1 background check.
• Must have CAC access and be able to obtain/maintain an employee CAC.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and able to enter data accurately.
• Experience with Army supply systems is required.

Responsibilities

• Compile and record production data from customer orders, work tickets, product specs, and worker sheets.
• Ensure timely and accurate data entry into Army systems such as GCSS-Army, DPAS, or LMP.
• Maintain logs, spreadsheets, and reports for daily, weekly, and monthly activity.
• Support audit readiness by maintaining accurate and compliant material records.
• Write production reports from data compiled; maintain file of documents used.
• Prepare detailed production sheets or work tickets for use by production workers.
• Sort and distribute work tickets or material; may compute wages from timecards and post payroll data.
• Monitor equipment requiring maintenance by creating evacuation work orders and coordinating repairs.
• Possibly travel up to 25% and perform other duties as assigned.
