Job summary

Akima Global Logistics (AGL) in Georgia seeks a Production Control Clerk to manage data entry into Army systems (GCSS-Army, DPAS, LMP) and maintain logs for daily, weekly, and monthly activities. The role supports audit readiness and ensures accurate material records.

The position requires compiling production data from orders and tickets, calculating production metrics, and preparing schedules and material requisitions for use by production teams.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; however, equivalent relevant work experience may be substituted.
• 2-3 years production control experience.
• Must have GCSS-A experience.
• Must be able to obtain/maintain CAC and pass background checks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Must have a valid driver’s license with proof of vehicle insurance and a real ID.
• Must be able to travel within the United States up to 25%.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate data entry into Army systems such as GCSS-Army, DPAS, or LMP.
• Maintain logs, spreadsheets, and reports for daily, weekly, and monthly activity.
• Support audit readiness by maintaining accurate and compliant material records.
• Write production reports based on compiled data and create detailed production sheets for workers.
• Sort and distribute work tickets or materials and assist with payroll data as needed.
• Monitor equipment maintenance by creating evacuation work orders and coordinating repairs.
