ALMA in San Luis Obispo seeks a passionate Production Baker to join the team. Initially in the commissary kitchen under the Pastry Chef, you will help produce a wide range of baked goods for our three restaurants and support the ALMA opening.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of commercial baking experience, strong knowledge of baking techniques, and high attention to detail. Weekend/evening availability is preferred to meet production needs.

Aufgaben

• Prepare and produce a wide variety of baked goods (desserts, sweet + savory pastries, sauces, breads).
• Follow the production schedule to ensure correct items and quantities are baked.
• Assist Pastry Chef by ordering ingredients, monitoring pars and maintaining records.
• Maintain clean ovens and baking areas in the kitchen.
• Train in baking and production prep duties to support as needed.
• Ensure desserts are prepared and served in a timely manner.
• Comply with portion sizing, cooking methods, quality standards, and kitchen rules.
• Complete additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisors.
