Job summary

Albertsons Companies in Concord, CA is seeking a friendly Baker to prepare breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts using established recipes. You’ll measure, mix, shape, bake, decorate, and ensure high quality while keeping display cases well stocked.

You'll work with a bakery team to meet daily production needs, maintain a clean workspace, and assist customers with questions and special orders in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Prior baking or food production experience preferred
• Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Prepare breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts using established recipes and methods.
• Measure, mix, shape, and bake products; decorate cakes and desserts.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area; rotate and label ingredients; keep cases full and appealing.
• Collaborate with bakery team to plan daily production needs and smooth operations.
• Assist customers with product questions, take special orders, and provide friendly service.
• Operate bakery equipment (mixers, ovens) safely in a fast-paced environment.
