Job summary

BlueScope Buildings is hiring a Production Associate to load and unload materials from machines, conveyors, and mobile equipment, and assist in assembling and inspecting products.

You will work Sunday night through Friday morning 10:00pm-6:00am with overtime. Pay is $19.95/hour plus a $2.00/hour shift differential, and we offer training, career growth, teamwork, safety, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities

• Load Materials: loads and unloads material from machines, conveyors, etc.
• Prepare and Assemble: Assemble materials with a torque gun and assist in the placement of products on equipment or work surfaces, supplying or holding materials or tools
• Ensure Quality: Utilize measuring tools and processes to perform inspections before, during, and after production, ensuring materials meet exact specifications.
• Contribute to Improvement: Actively participate in continuous improvement and corrective action activities.
• Maintain and Organize: Support housekeeping and organizational standards, such as 5-S practices.

We’re looking for skilled and detail-oriented individuals to assist in the production process by loading and unloading material from machines, conveyors, and mobile equipment; supplying or holding materials or tools; inspecting or wrapping; as well as stacking and banding material or products. Whether you’re experienced in production or eager to learn and grow in a dynamic environment, we welcome candidates of all backgrounds to bring their unique strengths to our team.

Hours are Sunday night - Friday morning 10:00pm-6:00am with some OT required.

Pay for this position is $19.95/hour and will include a $2.00/hour shift differential
