Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Production Associate 1 for its Auburn, WA facility. The role involves entry-level assembly and glass production of windows and doors, following standard works with mentor guidance, and helping maintain safety, quality and on-time delivery while reducing waste and cost.

You will collaborate with teammates to reach production targets, lift/move units, meet established rates, and participate in training of new co-workers in a real manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand written and verbal instructions in English and follow established work processes.
• Safely move materials and operate hand and power tools as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable attendance and flexibility to work overtime or weekends, as needed.
• Manufacturing experience and tape measure experience preferred.

• Fabricate, assemble, and lift window and/or door units.
• Work to an established production rate.
• Identify problems and communicate issues.
• Perform housekeeping duties in designated work areas.
• Assist with training co-workers.
• Perform other duties across the plant as needed as directed by leadership.

Pay Range: $21.50 - $22.50 + $1.50 shift differential

Shift: Swing Shift, Monday-Thursday, 2:30 pm - 1:00 am, plus overtime based on production needs

Duties and Responsibilities

Job Summary

Production Associate 1 performs entry-level assembly and/or glass production of Windows & Doors. Follows well-defined standard works with guidance and oversight. Collaborates with experienced teammates to develop new skills. Meets safety, quality, and on-time delivery standards while minimizing waste and cost. Meets production targets while maintaining production flow.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain standing for extended periods.
• Frequent walking, bending, reaching, twisting, lifting, and using repetitive motion.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with typical manufacturing conditions.
• Required use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
