Job summary

Jefferson Industries Corporation in West Jefferson, OH 43162 is seeking production associates for the Stamping Department on the 3rd shift (Sunday - Thursday, 10:00pm - 6:30am). The role includes inspecting metal parts, stacking into baskets, and operating stamping presses, forklifts, and overhead cranes.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing and/or warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 35lbs on a consistent basis.
• Ability to stand on concrete up to 12 hours.
• Ability to repeatedly bend, stoop and twist throughout shift.
• Overtime may be daily and/or weekend.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.

We are actively seeking production associates to join our Stamping Department on 3rd shift (core schedule, Sunday - Thursday, 10:00pm - 6:30am).

Job Position and Duties May Include

• Inspect metal parts of various sizes for defects to ensure quality standards met
• Stack parts then place into stationary basket
• Must be willing to operate Stamping Press
• Must be willing to operate forklift
• Must be willing to operate overhead crane
• Use RDF scanner to transfer inventory
• Perform general housekeeping duties
• Other duties as assigned

Compensation

• Weekly Pay
  • $18.75/hour starting wage
  • $0.50/hour eligible hours shift premium
  • Base-Rate Pay increase every three (3) months, up to top-out rate
  • Additional $1/hour at 5 and 10 years of service
