Job summary

Jefferson Industries Corp in West Jefferson, OH is seeking production associates for the Stamping Department on 1st shift (6:00am - 2:30pm). Inspect metal parts, stack parts, and prepare for assembly using stamping presses, forklifts, and overhead cranes.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing and/or warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs on a consistent basis.
• Ability to stand on concrete up to 12 hours and perform repetitive motions.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen and physical.

Responsibilities

• Inspect metal parts of various sizes for defects to ensure quality standards are met.
• Stack parts then place into a stationary basket.
• Operate stamping press as required.
• Operate forklift as needed.
• Operate overhead crane as required.
• Use RDF scanner to transfer inventory.
• Perform general housekeeping duties.
• Other duties as assigned.

We are actively seeking production associates to join our Stamping Department on 1st shift (core schedule, Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm)

Job Position and Duties May Include:

• Inspect metal parts of various sizes for defects to ensure quality standards met
• Stack parts then place into stationary basket
• Must be willing to operate Stamping Press
• Must be willing to operate forklift
• Must be willing to operate overhead crane
• Use RDF scanner to transfer inventory
• Perform general housekeeping duties
• Other duties as assigned

JIC associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive compensation and benefits package, including:

• Weekly Pay
  • $18.75/hour starting wage
  • Base-Rate Pay increase every three (3) months, up to top-out rate
