Jefferson Industries Corporation in West Jefferson, OH is seeking production associates for the Hot Stamp, Laser Cutting, and Weld Lines on 2nd shift. Core schedule: Mon–Fri 2:00pm–10:30pm or Mon–Thu 4:00pm–12:30am; Friday 3:30pm–12:00am if weld lines assigned.

Starting wage is $18.75/hour with a $0.50/hour shift premium and annual increases. Benefits include medical options, 401k with company match, paid vacation, and safety equipment reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Previous manufacturing and/or warehouse experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs consistently.
• Ability to stand on concrete up to 12 hours.
• Willing to work overtime as required to meet customer demands.
• Attention to detail and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Operate hot stamp press: load/set up dies, assemble, and inspect.
• Prepare laser cutting setup and monitor process quality.
• Assist weld line operations and perform routine duty tasks.
• Maintain housekeeping and safety standards on shift.
• Operate forklift as required.

We are actively seeking production associates to join our Hot Stamp Department on 2nd shift (core schedule, Monday - Friday, 2:00pm - 10:30pm, or Monday - Thursday, 4:00pm - 12:30am, Friday, 3:30pm - 12:00am if assigned to weld lines)

Job Position and Duties May Include:

Hot Stamp Press Operation:

• Assembly
• Installs/Set-up dies on bolster during die changes
• Loads blanks for continuous production operation
• Prepares robotic tooling for change-overs
• Inspects product for conformance to quality specifications
• Perform general housekeeping duties
• Must be willing to operate forklift
• Other duties as assigned

Laser Cutting Operation:

• Perform proper set-up for specified product
• Continuously monitor process
• Assists in troubleshooting
• Inspects product for conformance to quality specifications
• Perform general housekeeping duties
• Other duties as assigned

Weld Lines:

• Load/unload metal parts in weld jig
• Assembly
• Change weld-tips
• Inspect parts to ensure quality standards met
• Use RDF scanner to transfer inventory
• Perform daily equipment inspections
• Restock for oncoming shift
• Perform general housekeeping duties
• Other duties as assigned
