Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking production workers to mass-produce windows, doors and glass units. The role requires standing for long periods, reading tapes, and lifting up to 50 pounds, with background and drug screening as part of post-offer processes. Prior manufacturing experience is preferred.

Training will be provided on the job. Shifts include 1st and 3rd with pay of $16.00/hour base plus $1.50 shift differential for 3rd shift, benefits begin day one, and shoe voucher provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug test.
• Ability to carry out written or verbal instructions.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist.
• Preferably with experience in manufacturing.
• Preferably with experience reading a tape measure.

Responsibilities

• Perform repetitive workstation operations to mass-produce windows, doors, and glass units.
• May support the window operations in delivering, wrapping, loading, and unloading of materials or windows.
• Perform any workstation function using hand or power tools, saws, welders, or routers.
• Understand and carry out verbal instructions.
• Read and carry out simple written instructions.
• Read work orders, labels, and schedules.
• Use a tape measure, inspect for defects, and read measurements during interview.
• Operate equipment needed to perform a job.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Provide on-the-job training to new employees.

JOB DETAILS

Base Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour plus $1.50 per hour shift differential for 3rd shift

Shift 1st: 6:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday - Friday

Shift 3rd: 6:00 pm to 6:00 am Monday - Friday

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform repetitive workstation operations to mass-produce windows, doors, and glass units
• May support the window operations in delivering, wrapping, loading, and unloading of materials or windows
• Perform any workstation function using hand or power tools, saws, welders, or routers
• Understand and carry out verbal instructions
• Read and carry out simple written instructions
• Read work orders, labels, and schedules
• Use a tape measure (will be asked to read measurements during interview), inspect, examine, and observe for product defects
• Make fraction and decimal conversions
• Operate any equipment needed to perform a job
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Provide on-the-job training to new employees
